Who can make scouting reports?

Coaches with Elite Hoops Pro, and coaches on a Team Plan for the teams they coach. Reports are made on the web at elitehoopsapp.com.

Do my players need Pro to read one?

No. Players on your Team Plan read it when they sign in to Elite Hoops on the web, and anyone you send the report’s link to can open it on any phone, with no account.

Can I keep notes away from my players?

Yes. The staff notebook, the games you watched and any section or player you mark staff only stay off the player copy and the link. Print a staff copy when you want everything.

Can I put plays in a report?

Yes. Attach any play from your playbook to one of their sets or to your answer for a defense. Players watch it run step by step in the report, and the printout shows every step.

Yes. Print a player copy, a staff copy or a blank worksheet to fill in courtside, on US Letter or A4, or save it as a PDF.

Does it break down game film or stats?

No. Elite Hoops is where you write the plan and attach your plays. Keep your film and stats where they are, and add a link to any clip in the report so players can watch it.

Is there an example I can look at?

Yes. The sample report against Central High is a real report, made in Elite Hoops and shared by link. Open it from the button at the top of this page.

How Scouting Reports Work

Write what you saw
Set the keys to the game, then add their sets and defenses, how often they ran each one, and the players to stop. Attach plays from your playbook.
Choose what players see
Your staff notebook, the games you watched and anything marked staff only stay off the player copy.
Share it or print it
On a Team Plan your players have it as soon as you save. Send a link to anyone else, or print a handout for the locker room.
