The number one feature you've all requested for years is finally here.
Starting today, Elite Hoops has Team Plans. A Team Plan gives your whole program one private playbook. You invite your coaches, players, and parents, they sign in, and they see the team's plays, practices, and drills in the app or on the web. Coaches can edit. Players and parents can view. Only the people you invite can see it, and everything in Pro is included at no extra charge.
At a glance:
- Invite unlimited coaches, players, and parents. They join for free. No subscription of their own, no limit on how many.
- Coaches edit, players and parents view. You pick each person's role when you invite them, and you can change it or remove them anytime.
- Private to your team. Nothing on a shared team is visible to anyone you didn't invite.
- On iPhone, iPad, and the web. Buy on either, and the same team shows up everywhere.
- Starts at $200 a year for one team. Each additional team costs less than the one before it.
How it works
Buy a Team Plan for the number of teams you coach. Elite Hoops shares your teams as soon as the purchase goes through, and if you coach more teams than the plan covers, it'll asks you which ones to use. You invite people by email, by a link, or with a short code they type in. When a coach on your team adds a play or a practice, it lands in the team's playbook. When a player opens the app, that's the playbook they see.
You can share a different team, stop sharing one, or change who's on it anytime from Manage Teams. Nothing is locked in.
FAQ
How is a Team Plan different from Pro?
Pro is for you: every coaching tool, on all your devices, for the teams in your own account. A Team Plan adds a private space for a team you share. Invite your coaches, players, and parents, and they sign in and see that team's plays, practices, and drills. Every Team Plan includes Pro for you as well.
I already have Pro. Can I upgrade?
Yes, and a Team Plan includes Pro, so you should never be paying for both. For most coaches on a current App Store Pro subscription, buying a Team Plan in the app is a straight upgrade: Apple prorates the rest of your Pro year and switches you over. If you bought Pro on the web, or you are on an older App Store plan, Elite Hoops tells you on the purchase screen to cancel Pro after you upgrade. Either way, if you think you are paying twice, email me at sup@daywellspent.io and I will sort it out and refund the overlap.
Do the coaches, players, and parents I invite have to pay?
No. You buy the Team Plan and everyone you invite joins for free, with no subscription of their own and no limit on how many you invite. They create an Elite Hoops account so they can sign in, and that's it.
What can coaches, players, and parents do on a shared team?
Coaches and admins can create and edit the team's plays, practices, and drills, and invite other people. Players and parents can see everything on the team but cannot change it. You choose each person's role when you invite them, and you can change it or remove them at any time.
How much does a Team Plan cost?
A Team Plan starts at $200 a year for one shared team, and each extra team costs less than the one before it. Two teams are $299 a year and three are $398. On iOS, we offer one to five teams; the web goes up to thirty. Pro for you is included either way.
Can I change which team is shared, or who is on it?
Anytime. Manage Teams is where you share a different team, stop sharing one, change someone's role, or remove them. If a purchase shared a team you didn't mean to share, that's a one-tap fix, not an email to me.
What if it isn't for me?
If you bought on the web, every purchase comes with a 14 day money back guarantee: email me at sup@daywellspent.io within 14 days and I'll refund it. If you subscribed through the App Store, Apple handles the billing, so refund requests go to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Where do I get it?
On the pricing page, or from the Team tab in the app. Already on Pro? The same button reads Upgrade.
