About this play
A quick hitter for the moment the defense has learned to jump out and take away the screener's pop. The downscreen is set as usual, the screener fakes the pop to the slot, then cuts backdoor for the lob while his defender is sprinting to the perimeter. Needs a 5 who can catch above the rim or a 2 who can throw it where only he can get it.
