About this play
A box set that unfolds into Flex: the elbows step out to the slots, the point guard enters and fills a corner, and the weak-side downscreen puts a second guard in the slot. One reversal later the flex cut is running. Good as a dead-ball entry when the defense has learned to deny the two-guard front. The box entry comes from Basketball For Coaches' Flex offense guide; read it if you want the whole offense laid out in one place.
