About this play

Maryland's roll-back: when the defense switches the flex screen, the screener does not go looking for the downscreen. He pivots, seals the smaller defender who switched onto him, and ducks into the lane with his hands up. Gary Williams's teams scored on this constantly against big-to-small switches.
