For ages 12 and up, after the man-to-man series. A full swing, wing to corner, back out, across the top, to the other wing and corner, with the zone answering each pass: forward up, guard over, bump him down; five slides with the ball; the other guard sinks to the nail. Why the zone wants the swing: every pass around the outside is a pass that did not go inside, and the longer the ball travels the more time the zone has to slide, so a swinging offense is playing to the zone's advantage unless it finds a gap. What the zone is forcing: the ball into a corner, where the only passes out are long and the baseline is sealed. Teaching point: the bump. The forward goes first because he is closer, and leaves because two defenders on one wing means an empty short corner and an empty block. Common youth mistakes: the forward staying on the wing after the bump, the weak guard trailing the ball instead of sinking, and X5 forgetting to change sides on the reversal. I learned the bump from James Jones's slides and bump session for Championship Productions, and Coach's Clipboard's 2-3 zone page covers the ball on the wing; give both a look.
