About this practice
Nothing starts before noon the day after a game; that is the rule in the EuroLeague's player agreement, and it is a good rule for any team that plays twice a week. The session is mobility and treatment for everyone, the heavy-minute players rest in the weight room, and the court belongs to the players who did not play. They get the extra hour the starters do not need: form shooting, spot shooting, ball-screen shots, and the five-minute game against the preseason score. Film is the real work of the day and it is not on the court. Keep the whole thing under an hour; the practice that matters is tomorrow. The noon rule and the extra hour come from the EuroLeague Framework Agreement, and the recovery rule for the players who carried the minutes is Ettore Messina's, from his Sportando interview; the players' association's explainer of the agreement is the quickest read, start there.
