Horns Handoff (Zoom)

Court: Half court
Length: 7 steps

About this play

The modern Horns entry: ball to the elbow, the passer chases it for a dribble handoff, and the opposite big dives as the handoff happens. Boston runs this look dozens of times a game because the handoff is a screen the defense cannot ice. Works against every coverage; the read is made the instant 1 turns the corner. Basketball Coach Allen's top-five handoff plays and Coach's Clipboard's Horns Sonic writeup shaped this one; give them a look if you want more handoff looks.
