Horns Chin

Court: Half court
Length: 9 steps

About this play

Michigan State's Horns Chin: both corners lift, the ball swings wing to slot, and an elbow big back-screens (chins) the wing for a rim cut. The counter is the other big stepping up for a pick-and-roll or handoff with the slot. Punishes guards who top-lock the wing and ball-watch the reversal. Everything here came from Wes Kosel's Michigan State film and Hoop Scoop's diagram of Tom Izzo's Horns Chin; read them if you want the whole Spartan package.
