Horns alignment: 1 at the top with the ball, 4 and 5 at the elbows, 2 and 3 deep in the corners. Both elbows are screens waiting to happen, so the defense cannot push 1 away from the pick, and with both bigs high there is nobody protecting the rim.
1 enters to 4 at the left elbow. 4 catches and turns to face 1, keeping the ball in both hands for the handoff that is coming.
1 chases his pass, looping outside 4 for the dribble handoff. Timing matters: 1 should arrive as 4 turns to face him, not before.
4 hands off to 1 and screens 1's defender with his body on the exchange. A handoff is a screen the defense cannot ice.
1 turns the corner downhill while 4 pops to the slot and 5 dives from the opposite elbow, before his defender can get to the help spot. Reads: drop, pull up or feed 5; hard show, pitch back to 4; corner help, kick to 2.
