Against the 2-3 the wings are up at the free throw line extended instead of deep in the corners, because the zone's gaps are between its top two and between its top and bottom; 1 dribbles into the breakdown zone reading the two top defenders.
1 attacks the top gap between X1 and X2 with the dribble, and 5 seals the low middle defender for inside position, because the first look against the zone is the same as against man: get to the rack or dump to the post.
The read: the scouted zone stays home, X5 holds inside position on 5 and the two top defenders pinch 1 at the elbow, so 1 jump stops in the drop zone, because against a zone that doesn't collapse the drive moves the ball, not the defense.
