Flex alignment, four out and one in: 1 and 2 in the slots as a two-guard front, 3 and 4 deep in the corners, 5 on the left block. Everyone plays every spot, so these numbers are starting positions, not jobs.
The reversal to 2 is denied, so 1 passes down to 3 in the left corner. The ball is now on the baseline, and the two guards are free to screen.
1 and 2 set a double screen on the lane line for 4. Shoulder to shoulder on the double: a gap lets the defender through. Both are set before 4 leaves the corner.
4 cuts out of the right corner, across the top of the double, to the ball-side slot.
3 passes to 4 coming off the double. The screeners rotate: 1 pops to the right slot and 2 fills the right corner, so the floor is in flex spots again with 4 and 1 as the two-guard front.
4 shoots the jumper off the double. If it is covered, 4 reverses to 1 and the flex cut runs with 5 screening for 3 in the corner.
