Drill: Four-Corner Pass and Pivot
four lines, a
ball in each

All four dribble right-handed toward the center of the key, each with his own ball, and jump stop about three feet apart with both feet landing together and the ball chinned, because a jump stop is what makes the pivot legal.
1 front pivots on his right foot, steps through low, and chest passes counter-clockwise to 5 at the front of the next line, calling his name; the other three do the same to their next lines, so the four passes leave at once.
Everyone sprints to the back of the line he passed to, never walks, because the timing only holds if all four lines are ready together; one late line and the whole square turns to chaos.
5 dribbles in right-handed and jump stops at his spot in the circle, low, so he is already in a stance when his feet land and the pivot does not need a second hop.
5 pivots and chest passes to 4 at the front of the next line, who steps to the ball into triple threat, because a receiver who waits for the pass catches it on his heels.
5 sprints to the back of 4's line; after twenty passes the coach calls switch, left hand, left-foot pivot, clockwise passes, and the lines reset, because both feet have to learn the pivot.
