Drill: Pass-and-Cut 3v0 Give-and-Go
lines behind
each spot

Lines wait behind each spot. 2 V-cuts, a step toward the block and a hard cut back out to the wing with his hands up, because a receiver has to get open before the pass can be thrown.
1 passes to 2 on the wing; the give is the easy part, and the point is what 1 does the moment the ball leaves his hands.
1 takes one step toward 3 as if to screen away, selling the screen so the imagined defender relaxes and turns his head.
1 plants at the elbow and cuts hard down the lane to the rim with his hands up; the cut is the go, and it has to come after 2 has the ball, otherwise the pass arrives before the cutter does.
2 throws the bounce pass to the cutter's lead hand, because a flat pass to a moving player is the one that gets deflected or caught at the knees.
1 finishes the layup and the three rotate; pass and stand is the habit this breaks, which is why every rep ends with the passer scoring.
